Photographing Professionally now for over 15 years, I was first captured by a pin hole camera made from a Quaker Oats box in 7th grade shops class. I sat it atop a hill overlooking my hometown ( Altoona Pa ) and pulled back the tape and counted to 30 then hurried off to school. When I put the paper in the developing tray and saw the image come to life - I was hooked, and still am to this day. Starting out at Penn State University with the hopes of being an Architect, my underlaying passion of photography got the best of me. I moved to San Francisco where I pursued photography and met my mentor - well known Bay Area and Eastman Kodak Photographer Jim Dennis. Along with him and my individual studies I honed my skills and soon found myself shooting major San Francisco and National events people and productions, from movie set stills to corporate affairs, product, fashion and lifestyle as well as working on my fine art photography. I opened my studio in Hayes Valley San Francisco where I have lived for 14 years before coming to Portland Oregon and now spend my time shooting between the two cities and all points in between. My clients range from Fortune 500 companies to Small business start ups - Magazines, Corporate, E commerce Product, Events, Commission works, Musicians, Fashion Editorial and more. My cameras have taken me to places, situations and people that I could only have could have imagined as a child. |
